The Soul
Beneath the name you answer to, the role you play, and the body you move through, I believe there is something older and larger than any of it: the soul. Not an idea to be believed in, but a presence to be remembered. In my view, it is pure energy and creative force, expansive, unfiltered, and far more powerful than the version of ourselves we were taught to be. It doesn’t need to earn anything, prove anything, or be fixed. It simply is.
But most of us never meet it. Somewhere along the way, the ego was built to keep us safe, shaped by every fear, rule, and expectation we absorbed, and it stepped in front of the soul and began to speak for it. The louder the ego grew, the quieter the soul became, until we mistook the mask for the face. This is where I explore what lies beneath: who we are before the conditioning, what it feels like when the layers begin to fall away, and why the person you’ve been told you are may only be the smallest part of who you really are.
